Kelli Cruciotti Vanderveen Sees Success at Tryon Spring 5

Coming off her 2021 win with Hadja Van Orshof in the $30,000 Cleghorn Gun Club Grand Prix, Kelli Cruciotti Vanderveen returned to Tryon International Equestrian Center for Week 5 of the Spring Series with great success aboard Forever SFN and Gideon.

To start off the week, Kelli Cruciotti Vanderveen and Forever SFN (Azteca VDL x Non Stop) captured the blue in the $37,000 FEI 1.45m Two Phase. With twenty-eight competitors in the field, Kelli and Forever jumped the first phase clear to continue on to the jump off. Riding the course designed by Michel Vaillancour, the pair strategically shaved off more than two seconds for an exciting class win.

To top it off, Kelli also piloted Gideon (Super Trooper De Ness x Corland) to third place in the $25,000 Sunday Classic. Jumping second in the order in the first round, Kelli and Gideon were among the eight clear rounds to return to the jump off, one of only four to jump double clear.

Kelli Cruciotti Vanderveen and Team Serenity would like to thank our wonderful staff for their support, as well as our sponsors who help us keep our horses happy and healthy, including Platinum Performance, Ariat, GGT-Footing, Samshield, Weatherbeeta, and Devoucoux.
